Kempinski Hotel Chengdu is managed by the prestigious Kempinski
Hotels, a German-based hotel group. The hotel was designed by
“Bilkey Llinas”, West Palm Beach, Florida / USA. Two established
designers, Robert Bilkey and Oscar Llinas, added Chinese cultural
elements to the hotel’s interior for a stunning effect. The hotel
is in line with the 5-star standards set by the China National
Tourism Administration.
1. White holy wedding tables and chairs, with soft lights flashing luxury chandelier, pairs of new marching “wedding march” rhythm to accept guests into the lobby of the blessing.
Tables and chairs are dressed in white; court-style chandeliers
are lit, waiting for the bride and groom to walk in accompanied by
Wagner’s Wedding March.
2.
Although the designers designed the United States, but the cupboard in the front but is imbued with Chinese style: a symbol of the harvest of fish cabinet, cabinet before “grilles,” a symbol of longing for the good life. Perfect Chinese and Western.
The front desk is a fine example of combing the western with the
oriental: fish statuettes are a symbol of harvest; “window flower”,
paper cutting works used to adorn the window, suggests prosperity.
Can you tell from the appearance that it is designed by American
artists?
3 so wonderful evening, and love with a huge French windows stood before the cup of champagne, the magnificent panoramic view of Chengdu.
Imagine that you and your loved one standing side by side before
the huge ceiling-to-floor window which opens to Chengdu’s
breathtaking night views! A glass of champagne is sure to add to
the romantic evening.
4.’s Unique hollow wooden dining room cleverly separated. Although it can not stop the noise, it can feel a different kind of fun feeling.
The highlight of the restaurant is undoubtedly the hollowed-out
boards serving as partitions between tables, but unable to separate
diners completely from the attractively noisy vibe, thanks to the
holes in the board.
5. Small but complete. Although the interior space is not, however, has orange lights to create a very warm, romantic feeling, people physically and mentally comfortable.
Just as the Chinese saying goes, small as it is, the sparrow has
all the vital organs. Bathed in warm orange light, this cozy little
room exemplifies the “compact and complete” rule.
6. The coffee bar is a very dull color with decorated, highlighted the enormous green roof beam lamp post. Tables and chairs placed irregularly set shows the designer’s originality.
The dark palette is highlighted by several gigantic green
columns surrounding the lobby cafe, where tables and chairs are
placed in a seemingly haphazard way to reflect the designer’s
artistic twist.
